NORTH NEWTON, Kan. - The Bethel College men's tennis team earned a 7-0 victory over the University of Saint Mary in the first ever matchup of the two programs.
The Threshers earned the doubles point with a clean sweep of the doubles matches as they won at #1 7-5, #2 6-2 and #3 6-1.
Milan Bucek won his match 6-4, 6-3 after being tied 4-4 in the first set.
Michael Cech won his match 6-2, 6-3 at the #2 position.
Tomas Quercia won at the #3 position with a pair of 6-1 victories.
Petr Kollar won at the #4 spot with a pair of 6-0 victories.
Rodrigo Sanchez also won with a pair of 6-0 victories at the #5 position.
Moses Sawatzky won his match at #6 with a pair of 6-1 victories.
The Threshers will be back in action on Thursday April 11th as they host the Bethany Swedes with first serve scheduled for 3:00 PM.
