NORTH NEWTON, Kan. - The Bethel College men's tennis team recorded their second straight 7-0 victory as they defeated Bethany on a windy day at Ward Tennis Center.
The Threshers won all three of the doubles matches the earn the doubles point to begin the match as they won at #1 6-2, #2 6-1 and #3 6-1.
Milan Bucek earned the 6-2, 6-3 victory at #1 singles. After losing the first set 6-4,
Michael Cech didn't drop a game in the final two sets as he won with two 6-0 victories in the #2 position.
Petr Kollar won his match 6-2, 6-0 at #3. The Threshers didn't drop a single game in the final three singles positions as
Rodrigo Sanchez,
Jonah Bergeron and
Moses Sawatzky all won their matches in straight set 6-0 victories.
The Threshers will be back in action on Saturday, April 13th as they travel to take on the Ottawa Braves with first serve scheduled for 10 am.
