OTTAWA, Kan. - The Bethel College men's tennis team won their final road contest of the KCAC Regular Season as they defeated the Ottawa Braves 4-3.
The Threshers earned the doubles point with victories at the #1 and #2 positions as
Milan Bucek and
Michael Cech earned the 6-4 victory and
Petr Kollar and
Tomas Quercia won 6-3.
Jonah Bergeron and
Rodrigo Sanchez fell 6-4 in the third position.
Bucek continued his tear through the #1 singles position as he posted a dominant 6-1, 6-3 victory. Cech won his second straight three set match after losing the first set. He would win 1-6, 6-3, 6-3. Quercia fell at #3 singles 6-3, 6-1. Kollar would also fall as he lost with a pair of 6-3 matches. Sanchez fell in three sets at #5 after winning the first 6-2 he went on to lose a pair of 7-5 sets. Bergeron clinched the victory for the Threshers at #6 as he won 6-2, 7-5.Â
The Threshers will be back in action as they host the Sterling Warriors on Monday, April 15th at 3:00 PM.
