Oklahoma Panhandle State struck first, with Yaddelis Alderete finding the back of the net at the 41:27 mark, assisted by Joyleen Aleman. However, Bethel quickly responded when Grace Anderson scored unassisted just before halftime at 44:14, leveling the score at 1-1.
