Men's Soccer Falls to USAO After Early Lead, 4-1

North Newton, Kan - The men's soccer team fell to USAO at home on Tuesday night at Thresher Stadium. 

The Bethel Threshers faced a tough challenge against Science and Arts in their matchup at Thresher Stadium, falling 4-1 despite an early lead. Bethel struck first in the 16th minute with a goal from Aleksa Oborina, assisted by Panagiotis Charalamb. However, Science and Arts responded with four unanswered goals to secure the win.

Bethel showed promise early, outshooting their opponent in the first half. Goalkeeper Kazimir Kromwijk kept the team in the game with five saves, but a second-half red card left the Threshers playing with 10 men, which proved too much as they scored 3 goals after the card. 

The Threshers will look to bounce back in their conference opener next Saturday at Thresher Stadium against OKWU.
