Bethel Falls to No. 9 Missouri Valley

MARSHALL, Mo. — Bethel College struggled to contain a high-powered Missouri Valley offense in a tough 7-0 loss on the road on Wednesday night.

Forward Filip Maksimovic led the team with four shots, including two on goal, but the Vikings' defense held firm. Aleksa Oborina also managed to test the Missouri Valley goalkeeper early in the first half, but Bethel was unable to find the back of the net.

The loss drops Bethel to 0-3 on the season as they look to regroup before their next match on Monday at home against Oklahoma Panhandle State at Thresher Stadium.
