Columbia, Mo. — Bethel cross country turned in another strong showing at the Brian T. Simpson Invite, highlighted by top-20 finishes from Marcus Fiedler and Bethany Schrag.
On the men's side, Fiedler led the way with a time of 26:55.95, good for 14th overall. He was followed by Asa Johnson (27:17.46, 21st) and David Ultreras (27:35.23, 33rd), as all three posted competitive marks against a deep field that featured NCAA and NAIA programs. Gavin Gishi (28:34.79) and Braylon Hunnell (29:00.18) rounded out Bethel's top five.
For the women, Schrag ran a strong race with a time of 19:53.21, finishing 16th overall. She was joined by Emma Graber (20:55.16), Adah Hodge (21:31.61), Arianna Cerda (26:14.36), and Sydney Hart (26:49.11), giving the Threshers solid team depth on a challenging Gans Creek course.
