Bethel broke through in the 78th minute when Kaitlyn Marroquin scored her first goal of the season, finishing a chance from close range to put the Threshers on the board.
Goalkeeper Cadence McMenamy finished with five saves, including several key stops in the second half to limit further damage against a Friends attack that totaled 14 shots on the afternoon.
