Winfield, Kan. — Bethel College women's basketball defeated Southwestern College, 76–51, inside Stewart Fieldhouse in Winfield.
The Threshers controlled the game from start to finish, grabbing 14 offensive rebounds and forcing the Moundbuilders into 22 turnovers. Kendall Locke finished with 23 points and 9 assists. Her final bucket pushed her over 1,000 career points as a junior, and her 9 assists also broke the all-time Bethel career assist record — again, as just a junior. Twin sister Karlee Locke added 16 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 blocks. Emersyn Eischen rounded out the double-digit scorers with 14 points on 6-of-8 shooting.
Bethel will take on Bethany College at home on Saturday at 5:00 p.m.
