North Newton, Kan. — Bethel men's basketball put together one of its most complete performances of the season Wednesday night in Thresher Gym.
The Threshers came out firing, racking up 42 first-half points and establishing control before halftime. Ball movement was crisp, transition play was sharp, and Bethel's guards set the tone early with confident shot-making. The momentum carried into the second half, where Bethel continued to separate, outscoring Sterling 36–28 to close out the wire-to-wire win.
The Offense Clicks
Bethel shot an impressive 48.4% from the field and knocked down 11 threes, spacing the floor and keeping Sterling on its heels. The Threshers also won the rebounding battle 30–29 and turned 15 Sterling turnovers into 20 points, generating needed separation throughout the night.
Bench production played a major role as well, as the reserves combined for 21 points, giving Bethel sustained bursts of scoring and defensive energy.
