Milla Resigns as Head Women's Soccer Coach at Bethel College; Pardo Named Interim Head Coach

NORTH NEWTON, Kan. – Bethel College announces the resignation of Head Women's Soccer Coach Ignacio Milla after two seasons at the helm.

Taking over a depleted roster in 2023, Milla worked quickly to rebuild the program, emphasizing both growth and culture. Under his leadership, the Threshers became a competitive squad in the KCAC, showing promise with a young core that laid a foundation for the future.

"We appreciate everything Coach Milla did for Bethel College women's soccer," said Director of Athletics Tim Swartzendruber. "He took a depleted roster when he began, and worked extremely hard to not only build numbers but a quality group of young women. Our women were very competitive last fall and were a very young squad. I believe this program is on the rise. We wish him the best in his next endeavor."

Assistant Coach Lucas Pardo, who served under Milla, has been named interim head coach.
