MARYVILLE, Mo. — The Bethel College track & field team turned in a strong day of competition at the Bearcat Invite hosted by Northwest Missouri State, highlighted by a school record and several personal best performances.
Jason Klabo set the tone in the men's 600 yards, breaking the Bethel school record with a time of 1:16.40, improving his previous mark by more than a second.
Emma Graber had a solid double on the women's side. She opened the meet with an 18-second personal best in the mile, running 5:51, before returning later to post another personal best in the 3,000 meters with a time of 11:46.
In the field events, Darla Crow recorded a lifetime best of 5.06 meters in the long jump, a mark that moves her up the KCAC performance list.
The 600-yard group continued to show progress as well. Bryce William ran a personal best of 1:21.97, dropping two seconds from his previous time. Taryn Paulino also posted a personal best in the event, while Ariana Cerda recorded a season best.
Overall, the meet provided steady progress across multiple event groups as Bethel continues to build momentum heading deeper into the indoor season.
