NORTH NEWTON, Kan. – Following a dominant run to the conference championship and securing an automatic bid, Bethel Men's Tennis has officially punched their ticket to the NAIA Men's Tennis National Championship in Mobile, Alabama.
The Threshers (Conference Champions) will open tournament play on May 12 at 9:00 AM CST at the Mobile Tennis Center. They are set to face off against a familiar foe: the #11 seed Morningside University Mustangs.
A Shot at Redemption
The opening-round matchup presents more than just a tournament advancement opportunity; it offers the Threshers a chance at redemption. The two teams met earlier this season in a grueling, down-to-the-wire battle that saw Morningside narrowly escape with a 4-3 victory.

The Threshers' journey to Alabama was cemented last week when they captured the Conference Championship title. The victory earned them one of the coveted automatic berths in the 24-team field.

The NAIA National Championship is a single-elimination tournament held at the Mobile Tennis Center, a premier facility featuring over 50 courts. The winner of the Bethel-Morningside match will advance to the second round to face #6 seed Xavier (La.) on May 13.
