NORTH NEWTON, Kan. — Bethel College (1-0-0, 0-0) secured a 3-1 victory over Central Christian College (0-1-0, 0-0) on Saturday with two second-half goals solidifying the win. The Threshers maintained consistent pressure with seven shots on goal, while Central Christian managed only one goal from its eight total shots.
First Half
- Bethel started aggressively with
Malayasia Larque taking an early shot at 0:22, but it was saved by the Tigers' goalie Samantha Stoehner.
- At 10:31, Larque again challenged Stoehner with another shot, resulting in another save.
