NORTH NEWTON, Kan. — Bethel College (0-2-1, 0-0) suffered a decisive 7-0 loss to Northwestern College (2-0-0, 0-0) on Saturday. Despite the defeat, the Threshers' goalkeeper recorded five saves throughout the match.
First Half
- At 27:59, Daniel Lindahl scored the first goal for Northwestern, assisted by Juan Miranda.
- Rasmus Morrison extended Northwestern's lead to 2-0 at 30:47.
- Juan Munoz added a third goal for the Raiders at 31:59, with an assist from Bram Zwinkels.
- The Threshers trailed 3-0 going into halftime.
Second Half
- Gerrard Uamai notched a goal for Northwestern at 53:19, assisted by Edoardo Alessandrini, bringing the score to 4-0.
- At 60:55, Gonzalo Domingo converted a penalty kick to extend Northwestern's lead to 5-0.
- Jovany Kabongo found the net at 73:37, assisted by Bau Marques, increasing the advantage to 6-0.
- Emerson Brazones closed out the scoring at 89:37 with an assist from Jovany Kabongo, finalizing the period at 7-0 in favor of the Raiders.
