NORTH NEWTON, Kan. — Bethel lost to Tabor 2-0 to continue KCAC play. The Threshers were limited to eight shots, three on goal, while their goalkeeper made eight saves against 19 Tabor shots.
Tabor generated stretches of attacking volume, and Bethel had to defend through multiple sequences to keep the match within reach. Early on, the Threshers got through a scoreless stretch in which Tabor recorded four shots, and later, with Tabor ahead by one, Bethel again held out during a sequence that included four shots and two corner kicks. The Threshers made their late push while trailing by two, recording two shots and two corner kicks during a four-action attacking stretch in the closing minutes.
Tabor finished with a 19-8 advantage in shots and put 12 attempts on frame, while Bethel placed three of its eight shots on goal.
Harley Inskeep made eight saves in goal, and
Ava Divis added two defensive saves as the Threshers dealt with repeated Tabor chances.
Malayasia Larque supplied most of Bethel's shooting output with six shots, including two on goal, while
Regina Mendoza added two shots and one on frame.
Inskeep recorded eight saves over 90 minutes in goal. Larque led the Threshers with six shots, putting two on goal. Divis collected two defensive saves.
