WINFIELD, Kan. - The Bethel College men's cross country team recorded a fourth-place finish at the NAIA Mid-States, while the women's cross country team did not record a team score.

All three Thresher women finished in the top 30, led by
Bethany Schrag who finished 25th. Schrag ran a time of 26:13.19.Â

Emma Graber finished right behind her teammate in 26th after running a time of 26:13.28.Â
Â
Taryn Paulino rounded out the Thresher finishers as she recorded a time of 27:03.05, good for a 29th-place finish.

Luke Schmidt led the Thresher men with a 17th-place finish after recording a time of 27:53.85.
Tobin Wise finished right behind Schmidt in 18th as he ran a time of 27:57.80.Â

Marcus Fiedler finished in 26th with a time of 29:06.74.Â

Isaiah Bartel finished just two places behind Fiedler in 28th with a time of 29:10.84.Â

Robert Crager finished in 40th with a time of 30:51.57.Â

Matthew Fleck finished in 42nd with a time of 31:19.35.Â

Daniel Kaufman rounded out the Thresher finishers as he recorded a 44th finish after turning in a time of 31:43.78.

Both squads will be back in action on November 4th for the KCAC Championships back in Winfield.
