McPHERSON, Kan. - Both Bethel College Cross Country teams competed in the Carol Swenson Invite hosted by McPherson College. The Thresher men finished in 6th place as a team, while the Thresher women didn't record a team score.

Luke Schmidt led the way for the Threshers as he finished in 34th with a time of 26:47, a 29 second PR.

Tobin Wise ran a 27:08 to finish 42nd, a 57 second PR.

Isaiah Bartel finished 51st with a time of 27:23.

Marcus Fiedler finished in 52nd running a time of 27:25, a 63 second PR.

Matthew Fleck finished in 79th with a time of 29:16, a 78 second PR.

Daniel Kaufman finished 86th with a time of 30:36.

Robert Crager runs a 30:37 to finish 87th.

Emma Graber led the way for the Thresher women as she finished 23rd with a time of 20:04, a 53 second PR.

Bethany Schrag finished 31st running a time of 20:26, a 33 second PR.

Taryn Paulino finished 45th with a time of 21:47.

The Threshers will be back in action on Saturday, October 21st as they participate in the NAIA MidStates meet hosted by Southwestern College.
