NORTH NEWTON, Kan. - Both Bethel College cross country squads competed in their home meet, the Muthama-Roger Invite. The women would not record a team score, while the men finished third.

:Luke Schmidt was the top finisher for the Bethel men recording a 10th place finish with a time of 27:30.66.

Tobin Wise was the next best finisher for Bethel in 20th place with a time of 28:05.33.

Isaiah Bartel finished 23rd with a time of 28:12.46.

Marcus Fiedler finished just a few spots behind Bartel in 25th with a time of 28:29.21.

The Threshers next best finisher was Daniel Kaufman in 48th with a time of 31:32.14.

Robert Crager finished 60th with a time of 33:03.39.

Nick Morgan rounded out the Bethel men with a 69th place finish and a time of 34:32.76.

The two Thresher women runners finished back-to-back led by Bethany Schrag who finished 13th with a time of 20:59.04.

Taryn Paulino finished 14th with a time of 21:05.45.

Both Bethel squads will be back in action on Saturday, October 7th as they run in McPherson, Kan.
