HILLSBORO, Kan. - The Bethel College women's basketball team put forth their best effort as they tried to upset the Tabor Bluejays on their home court, but fell short 57-48.

The Threshers recorded their highest point total in a quarter in the opening frame as they put up 14 points on nearly 54% shooting from the floor. However, they allowed the Bluejays to score 20 points in the frame while knocking down three three-point baskets.

After being outscored by six in the first quarter, Bethel was outscored by five points in the second quarter as they trailed by 11 points at the intermission.

Bethel held Tabor to just nine points in the third quarter while holding them to no made shots from beyond the three point line. The Threshers were able to score 12 points in the quarter to cut the lead down to eight heading into the fourth.

Tabor put up one more point in the fourth quarter than Bethel did as they were able to take the nine point win on their home floor.
