GAME TWO, L 9-8
Tabor once again struck first with a run in the top of the first inning this time on an RBI ground out. The Threshers answered back in the bottom of the second as they pushed two runs across as Sanfillippo reached base after a sacrifice bunt attempt. On the play, the Bluejays made an error on the bunt as they second baseman didn't see the ball and got hit in the chest and then the right fielder threw the ball to second base trying to get Sanfillippo out and overshot the short stop allowing the ball to go into the foul territory on the left side of the field. Sanfillippo and Piovesan scored as a result of the errors. Tabor bounced right back after the errors for the biggest inning for either team on the evening as they pushed 6 runs across in the third inning forcing
Madelaine Debs out of the circle, giving her the shortest start of her career as a Thresher. Bethel scored three runs in the bottom half, including
Anniston Oylear's first career homerun, cutting into the Bluejay lead. With the score 7-5 in favor of the visitors, Tabor scored two more runs in the top of the fourth as Bethel pushed one across in the bottom half. The Threshers got runners on in the bottom of both the fifth and the sixth innings but stranded them both before pushing two across in the ninth to drop game two by a run.
Marissa Harrison - 3 for 3, RBI
Abrial Ramirez - 2 for 3
Anniston Oylear - 2 for 4, RBI
