Chanute, Kan. — Bethel Cross Country continued its strong fall season at the Neosho County Invite, led by a dominant showing from the men's squad. Asa Johnson captured the individual title out of 60 runners with a lifetime-best time of 26:35. Marcus Fiedler followed close behind in second at 26:52, while Gavin Gishi rounded out the top ten.
Johnson, Fiedler and Gishi all ran lifetime bests in the meet. Freshman Hassan Everington made his debut for the Threshers, finishing 56th in his first collegiate race.
On the women's side, Taryn Paulino represented Bethel as the sole female competitor, placing 18th overall with a season-best performance.
