Wichita, Kan. — The Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) has named Bethel College junior Cameron Offerle as one of its Game One "Game Changers of the Month" for September, as announced by Commissioner Brandon Buchanan and the conference office.
The GameChanger of the Month recognition celebrates KCAC student-athletes and staff members who make a noticeable impact both in competition and within their campus communities. Nominees are selected by their institutions for exemplifying the spirit of the KCAC and for making a distinct difference through their leadership, performance, and character. Offerle was nominated by Tim Swartzendruber, Bethel College Director of Athletics.
Offerle has been a force on the court for the Thresher volleyball program. As of October 7, she leads the NAIA in total kills (382) and ranks second nationally in kills per set (4.78). Her dominant month of September included two KCAC Attacker of the Week honors (Sept. 16 and Sept. 29) while guiding Bethel to a 6–3 record during that span.
"Cameron is not only an outstanding volleyball player, she is a leader on our campus," said Swartzendruber. "Her work ethic and leadership on our team have helped make our volleyball program successful. The example she sets across campus is positive for all our students."
Beyond her athletic accomplishments, Offerle embodies what it means to be a GameChanger. A social work major, she also serves as a student ambassador in the Bethel College admissions office, giving tours to prospective students and families. Her energy, kindness, and pride in Bethel College leave a lasting impression on everyone she meets.
Offerle's influence extends far beyond the stat sheet. Her ability to lead by example — in the classroom, on the court, and across campus — has made her a model of what the KCAC GameChanger recognition represents: excellence, leadership, and community impact.
