OTTAWA, Kan. — Bethel College softball fell in both games of a conference doubleheader at Ottawa on Saturday, dropping Game 1 8-5 and Game 2 5-3 at Alumni Park.
Game 1 — Ottawa 8, Bethel 5

The rally was sparked by Ashley Poe, who delivered the biggest swing of the game — a bases-clearing double that brought in three runs.
Moments later, Kenzi Young followed with an RBI single to cap the inning and give Bethel a 4-1 lead.
The Threshers added another run in the fifth, with Madison Gonzalez driving in a run as part of a three-hit inning.
But Ottawa answered with multiple big innings, including a three-run third and two runs in both the fourth and sixth, regaining control late.
