Box Score 4 OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. - The Bethel College Softball team hit the road to Oklahoma City for the Hosea Bell Red Dirt Classic hosted by Langston University at the USA Softball Hall of Fame Stadium. The Threshers dropped all four of their contests, including an exhibition with NCAA Division I Grambling State.
GAME 1 - L vs Hastings 6-2
The Threshers took on Hastings College for the third time in a week to open up the classic. The Broncos threw their pitcher that beat the Threshers earlier week. Hastings got on the board first with a pair of solo shots and an RBI single to take a three run lead after three innings. After the Broncos pushed another run across in the top half of the fifth inning, the Threshers answered back with two runs of their own when
Marissa Harrison reached on an error by the right fielder that scored
Bailea Crist. Later on in the inning,
Dakota Piovesan scored
Lauren Hurd with an RBI single down the left field line. Hastings tacked on two more runs with a two-run shot to right center in the seventh to take a 6-2 victory.

GAME 2 - Exhibition vs Grambling State
Game 3 - L vs MidAmerica Christian 8-1
The Evangels struck in the top of the first inning with a sacrifice fly. MACU added to their total in the top of the third when they pushed across four runs on five hits zero stranding one runner.
Taylor Sanfillippo drove in two runs with a single down the left field line scoring
Olivia Nava. With Bethel trailing 5-1, the Evangels scored three more runs in the top of the 5th to push their lead to 8-1 the eventual final score.

GAME 4 - L vs #3 USAO 11-0
The Drovers scored in all four innings they came to the plate. USAO scored three runs on three hits in the first inning, two runs on two hits in the second, three runs on three hits in the third and three runs on two hits in the fourth. The Threshers stranded five runners on base in the first four innings of the contest.Â
