Softball earns split with RV OKWU on Senior Day

NORTH NEWTON, Kan. - The Bethel College Softball team hosted Oklahoma Wesleyan for their final home contest of the season as they celebrated 9 seniors leaving their program. The Threshers beat the RV Eagles in game one 10-9 before dropping game two 7-2.

The Eagles matched the Threshers' four run second inning with four runs of their own in the fourth to take a 6-4 advantage. Bethel answered back instantly by hanging six runs on OKWU in the bottom half to take the lead right back. With the Threshers leading 10-6, neither team would score again until the 7th inning. This was the first time the Threshers have every beaten a team that had been receiving votes in the NAIA National Poll.
