WICHITA, Kan. - The Bethel College Softball team dropped both games of their double header with the Friends Falcons losing game one 7-0 and game two 15-0.
GAME 1, L 7-0
The Threshers had just two batters reach base safely as
Amber Mott walked and
Taylor Sanfillippo reached on a fielders choice. The Falcon starter in the circle struck out 14 Thresher batters without allowing a hit in the contest.Â
Game 2, L 15-0 5 inn.
Cynae Wiley led game two off with a single to get Bethel's first hit of the afternoon. Wiley was able to get all the way over to third base, but was stranded. The Falcons put up two runs in the bottom half of the inning to get on top. Bethel got a runner to third base again in the second, but once again wasn't able to bring her across. The Falcons exploded in the bottom of the second for 13 runs. The Threshers never threatened again in the contest as the Falcons won game 2.

The Threshers will be back in action on Tuesday, April 11th as they host Sterling beginning at 5:00 PM.
