The Bethel (Kan.) cross country team competed in the Carol Swenson Invite hosted by McPherson College.
MEN'S RACE
Leading the way for Bethel was Tobin Wise, who crossed the finish line in 13th place with a time of 27:26.81. He was closely followed by Marcus Fiedler, who secured 16th place with a time of 27:39.77. Both runners set a solid pace for the team in the competitive race.
Braden Esau also put in a noteworthy performance, finishing in 28th place with a time of 28:22.76, showing his consistency throughout the race. Luke Schmidt was next for the Threshers, placing 38th with a time of 29:22.27, contributing valuable points to the team's total.
Rounding out the scoring for Bethel was Matthew Fleck, who crossed the line in 57th place with a time of 33:50.44.
WOMEN'S RACE
Bethany Schrag led the way for the Threshers, crossing the finish line in 6th place with a time of 20:35.42, continuing her consistent season and leading the team by example. Close behind was Taryn Paulino, who finished 13th with a time of 21:33.38, contributing significantly to the team's overall effort. Sydney Hart put in a solid performance, finishing in 39th place with a time of 24:39.17.
