WINFIELD, Kan. - The Bethel College women's tennis team picked up a 6-1 victory over the Southwestern College Moundbuilders to remain undefeated in KCAC play.
The Threshers started off the contest by sweeping all of the doubles matches, only needing one win to earn the point as Southwestern didn't have a team in the third position. Bethel won at #1 7-5 and #2 6-0.
Daniela Casique dropped the only singles match on the day as he fell 6-0, 6-4.
Grace Dawes picked up the 6-1, 6-4 victory at #2. In the third position,
Halle Krehbiel cruised to a 6-4, 6-0 win.
Jenna Mahoney dropped just one game at #4 on her way to a 6-1, 6-0 victory.
Nalea Payton and
Patricia Huerta both earned wins by default at #5 and #6.
The Threshers will be back in action on Monday, April 1st as they host the Kansas Wesleyan Coyotes.
