Casique Earns CSC Academic All-America Second Team Honors

NORTH NEWTON, Kan. — Bethel College women's tennis standout Daniela Casique has added another prestigious honor to her historic 2026 season, earning College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-America® Second Team recognition.

The award recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined excellence in academics and athletics. Academic All-America selections are among the highest honors bestowed upon collegiate student-athletes, highlighting outstanding performance both in competition and in the classroom.

Casique's selection comes on the heels of an exceptional season in which she helped lead Bethel to one of the most successful campaigns in program history. Competing primarily at the No. 1 singles position, she played a key role in guiding the Threshers to an 18-4 overall record and an 11-1 mark in conference play while helping the program climb into the national rankings. Her efforts also earned her NAIA Second Team All-American recognition earlier this spring.

Throughout her career, Casique has consistently demonstrated the qualities that define the student-athlete experience. Her dedication to academic achievement has matched her competitive success on the tennis court, making her one of the premier representatives of Bethel College athletics.

The Academic All-America honor adds to an already impressive list of accolades for Casique this season, which includes NAIA Second Team All-American honors and ITA Central Region Player to Watch recognition.

With her selection to the CSC Academic All-America Second Team, Casique becomes one of the nation's most accomplished student-athletes.
