Game Preview: #12 Threshers Set to Host Falcons Saturday

NORTH NEWTON, Kan. - The no. 12 ranked Bethel Threshers are set to host the Friends Falcons inside Thresher Stadium on Saturday, September 11th at 6:00 PM.

In the last matchup between the two schools, the Threshers would take down the Falcons 34-22 inside Thresher Stadium. Bethel has won the last two matchups, winning in 2019 25-20 in Wichita. The Threshers have only dropped one out of the last five games against the Falcons, as Friends took the 2018 contest 38-20.

Bethel opened their 2021 campaign on Thursday, September 2nd at McPherson, a game that would take over six hours to complete. In a contest that was riddled with lightning delays, the Threshers would tack on two fourth-quarter touchdowns on their way to a 24-0 shutout of the Bulldogs.

Friends opened up their 2021 season against Kansas Wesleyan on Saturday, September 4th. The Coyotes would defeat the Falcons 65-7 in a game where Friends would give up over 500 offensive yards, 219 of which came on the ground.

Tickets for this weekend's matchup are available at Bethelthreshers.com/tickets
