Tempe, Ariz. -- Bethel College senior Jenna Mahoney has been named the 2025 ITA NAIA Women's Arthur Ashe Leadership & Sportsmanship Award recipient, a national honor that recognizes excellence both on and off the tennis court.
A four-year starter for the Thresher women's tennis team, Mahoney has anchored the program's development while competing against top KCAC talent at the No. 3 through No. 5 singles positions. Her consistency, work ethic, and leadership have played a pivotal role in the growth of Bethel's tennis culture.
Off the court, Mahoney has been equally impactful. She served as President of the Student-Athlete Leadership Team at Bethel and holds positions on both the NAIA's National Student-Athlete Board and the ITA Student-Athlete Council—representing student-athletes nationwide. Her dedication to leadership and service reflects the values of the award, which honors the legacy of tennis legend Arthur Ashe.
Mahoney's recognition by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association places her among the most respected student-athletes in the country and caps off a standout career built on integrity, service, and performance
