SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Bethel Women's Tennis left Springfield with a dominant 7-0 sweep over Evangel on Saturday.

The Threshers set the tone early by taking all three doubles matches. Daniela Casique and Sara Ladino battled to a 7-5 win at No. 1 doubles, while Ximena Raya and Patty Huerta (6-1) and Kate Rowland and Grace Dawes (7-5) completed the doubles sweep.

SINGLES

Daniela Casique led the way at No. 1 with a 6-2, 6-1 win, followed by dominant straight-set victories from Sara Ladino and Ximena Raya. Grace Dawes delivered one of the most decisive wins of the day at No. 4, not dropping a game, while Patty Huerta and Jireh Gonzalez closed out the sweep with strong performances at No. 5 and No. 6.

Bethel won all six singles matches in straight sets, securing the clean 7-0 victory.
