Box Score McPHERSON, Kan. - The Bethel Thresher Women's Tennis team took on the College of Saint Mary Flames on Sunday afternoon at Memorial Park in McPherson. The Threshers fell to the Flames 5-2 in the non-conference matchup.

Daniela Herrera and Halle Krehbiel playing #1 doubles got the win vs the Flames Hurst and Zakrzewski 7-5. Fatima Nemi and Nalea Payton playing in #2 doubles lost to Acena and Negrete 7-5. Jenna Mahoney and Karik Elliott fell to Swanson and Chiasson 6-3 to give the doubles point to the Flames. 

Playing in the #1 singles spot Herrera fell to Acena 4-6, 6-0, 6-1. In #2 singles, Krehbiel fell to Hurst 6-4, 6-4. Nemi, playing #3 singles picked up the first point for the Threshers with a 6-3, 6-1 victory. Payton lost in the singles #4 spot 6-4, 7-6(4). Mahoney picked up the second win for Bethel with a 6-2, 6-3 victory over Negrete in the #5 singles slot. Julia Sherman, playing #6 singles, fell to Boex 6-1, 6-1.

The Threshers will be back in action on Friday, February 25th at 3:00 PM as they travel to take on John Brown.
