The 1975 men's track team could be considered one of the strongest track teams to compete for the Threshers.  They won the 1975 KCAC Championship in dominating fashion by 43 points.  This was the second consecutive KCAC Championship for the Thresher track squad.  The team also won the Bethel College Invitational and the Southwestern Quadrangular.  Team members won five individual KCAC Championships and set 10 outdoor records and four indoor records.  In addition, John Muthama placed first in the three mile run and 2nd in the mile run at the NAIA National Track and Field Championships.  Head Coach George Rogers, III also earned NAIA District 10 and Area 3 Coach of the Year honors.  Quentin Reimer served as assistant coach and Jesse Hall served as trainer.  The members of the 1975 track team were: Charles Buller, Neal Combs, Bruce Dooley, Jerome Doyle, Dwight Flaming, Warren Flaming, Greg Flickner, Jonathan Jantz, Billy Jones, Larry Koehn, Mike Lott, Eldon Martens, John Muthama, David Ortman, Dale Russell, Brian Stucky, Russell Stucky, Mark Thompson, and Paul Unruh.
