Lisa is considered the best all-around female athlete to compete for the Threshers and a catalyst for intercollegiate women's sports.  She was an integral member of four KCAC Championship volleyball teams from 1977 to 1980 and the 1977 KCAC Champion women's basketball team.  She earned KCAC honors in each of her four seasons of competition in volleyball and basketball and for one year in track.  Lisa was a four-year letterwinner in volleyball and basketball.  Lisa served as an assistant coach for the 1981 Thresher volleyball team that finished third in the NAIA.  The AIAW did not have a system of national recognition at the time that Lisa competed for Bethel; however, based on today's NAIA standards, Lisa would have qualified for All-American honors.  Lisa's induction to the Hall of Fame coincides with Bethel's "Celebrate! BC Women in Sport" observance of the 25th Anniversary of KCAC women's sports.  She graduated from Bethel in 1981 with a degree in Elementary Education.
