Thresher Athletics Hall of Fame
Tennis runs strong in the Brodhagen family, but hopefully not tennis elbow. Our next Hall of Fame inductee is Angela Brodhagen, who arrived at Bethel in 1996 and spent four years dominating on the court. The three-time KCAC Most Valuable Player helped lead Bethel to four consecutive conference championships. Brodhagen started her freshman campaign as Bethel’s #4 singles champion, before taking over at #1 singles and grabbing two more KCAC championships. Brodhagen was able to rise as high as #23 in the country in doubles play in both 1999 and 2000, and with it helped raise the standard of success for Thresher Tennis.
