The 1989-90 Bethel College men's tennis team laid the foundation for Bethel's ten year winning streak of Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) men's tennis championship dominance by winning Bethel's first title.  The Threshers finished the regular season with a 15-2 overall dual meet record, 7-0 in the KCAC.  Bethel finished in fourth place at the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) District 10 Tournament.  Three members of the team earned All-Conference honors.  Head Coach Marty Ward was named KCAC Men's Tennis Coach of the Year.  Grant Scott served as assistant coach, and team members included:  Chris Bellar, Scott Dooley, Todd Fox, Marty Highsmith, Lonnie Isaac, David Kuo, Subba Reddy, and Steve Tran.
