Athlete, Coach & Athletic Director 1969-1998

– Outstanding football & track athlete; football lineman for the 1967 & 1968 teams; holds the pass interception record for a lineman and unassisted tackles record; has served in a variety of positions at the college over the past 25 years – as head track coach (1971-1998) his teams won KCAC in 1974, 75, & 79 and produced a number of NAIA all-American athletes and he was voted KCAC Coach of the Year, NAIA District 10 Coach of the Year and NAIA Regional Coach of the Year; defensive coordinator for Bethel football for over 20 years; over the years, his defensive teams set many records within the conference and the nation; was defensive coordinator for the 1984 KCAC Championship team.
