The 1984 Bethel College football team won the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) championship with an undefeated 9-0 record, and were ranked third in the nation in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) final Division II football rankings.  They qualified for the NAIA playoffs, where they lost in the first round.  The Threshers clinched the KCAC Championship outright with a 47-19 road win over Kansas Wesleyan University.  Fifteen players were selected to the All-KCAC teams, four were selected NAIA All-District 10, and three were selected as Honorable Mention NAIA All-Americans.  Head Coach Kent Rogers was named the KCAC Football Coach of the Year and NAIA District 10 Coach of the Year.  The Threshers outscored their opponents 326-134 and averaged 387 yards per game, while allowing their opponents 237 yards per game.  Kent Rogers served as head coach; George Rogers, Ron Reber, Russell P.
